Crowdfunding galore!
It’s the season for a good challenge and there are some very kind-hearted souls out there who have challenged themselves to raise money to help Clean Jurassic Coast and other worthy causes.
The money raised from these Crowd-funders will go towards the costs of running CJC, pay for equipment and also help us to educate schools and businesses. As we are not a registered charity, the fundraising is done as a crowd-funder through Just Giving.
In July 2020, CJC Champions Rhea and Dave cleaned 7 beaches in 7 days for CJC. Find out more here.
In August 2020, CJC’s Anna and her friend Izzy planned to walk the Jurassic Coast for CJC and Sarcoma UK. Due to bad weather and injuries, they haven’t finished their challenge yet, but stay tuned! They have raised an amazing £1,661 so far. Find out more here.
Also in August 2020, CJC’s Oly swam the Jurassic Coast for CJC and Gopladdle. After swimming the coast in 10 days, he then swam even further to pass the 100 mile mark! Oly raised an astounding £9,590 for both causes. Find out about the challenge here and the final result here.
